Brian Banks reports several more fish coming to the bank at Astbury Mere last week. MW had two carp of 15lb and 26lb both mirrors and a lovely brace of tench with a male of 6lb and a female of 9lb. PJ had three carp 15lb, 24lb and 26lb, Sonny had three fish to 21lb, whilst other members had fish to 19lb. Brian went on to say this probably the best Astbury has fished and proves the work and stocking the club is putting into this water is paying off for its members.
