April Astbury Update

After another bitterly cold winter it was a welcome spell of very warm weather in April and the carp responded to this and started feeding 4 weeks earlier than normal, many members reported multiple catches and there been several mid twenty pounders including this impressive 26lb 14oz common caught by new member Dave Reynolds. There as also been a string of good tench caught to around the 7lb mark. The best bream reported was 11lb, none of the catfish have shown yet, one member reported a multiple catch of pike to mid doubles.
