River Dove Scropton - Water Profile

The society has fishing rights for about 1 mile on both banks of this stretch of the river. The river has many twists and bends providing a lot of character and interesting swims to fish from deep water to fast gravel runs. There are numerous overhanging bushes, which provide cover for many of the resident species. In addition there are countless margin features, bars and shelves, islands and shallow runs along this tree lined stretch.
